What is a TerraBuilder Fuser

A TerraBuilder fuser (or “fuser”) is an application that allows SkylineGlobe Server DirectConnect to utilize the resources of the computer, on which it is running, for the on-the-fly fusion of geospatial source data into a unified terrain database. The fuser remains idle until activated by SkylineGlobe Server when a TerraExplorer or WMS/WMTS client loads the TBP layer.

One TerraBuilder fuser is installed on each server computer as part of the installation process. See “Installing SkylineGlobe Server” in the “Getting Started” chapter for information.
