Pasting a Polygon

To paste a polygon:

1.     Cut or copy a polygon. See “Cutting a Polygon” and “Copying a Polygon” in this chapter for more information.

2.     In the Layer List, select Edit mode for the layer(s) onto which you want to paste the polygon.

3.     On the Polygon Edit tab, in the Clipboard group, click the arrow below Paste, and then click Paste. The polygon is pasted onto the selected layer(s).

Note:        If you want to attach a polygon to another layer so that the pasted copy is linked to the original polygon, click the arrow below Paste, and click Attach Clipboard. The polygon is attached to all layers in Edit mode.
