Start Page

The Start Page is the first page you see after opening TerraExplorer Pro from the Program Files menu or from the desktop icon.

When you start TerraExplorer Pro by selecting a .FLY file or link, TerraExplorer Pro opens the project directly and does not show the Start Page. The Start Page also appears after you close your current project.

TerraExplorer Pro Start Page

Start page options:

§  Open Project – Opens a dialog in which you can browse to a project file.

§  Open Project from SGS – Opens the SkylineGlobe Layers dialog so you can load a project from SGS. You can load an MPT/TBP remote database file or a FLY/KML project file.

§  Demo Project – Opens a .fly with detailed feature, raster, and mesh layers.

§  Support Center – Opens Skyline's knowledge base, a centralized repository of information about TerraExplorer and other Skyline applications.

§  Tutorials and Videos – Opens Skyline's YouTube channel with videos demonstrating TerraExplorer's key features.

§  Recent Projects – Opens one of your recent TerraExplorer projects.

§  Quick Guide – Opens TerraExplorer’s Quick Start Guide, which helps you find your way around TerraExplorer.

§  Programmer's Guide – Provides access to the TerraExplorer Programmer’s Guide Help files

§  User Manual – Opens TerraExplorer’s Help files.

§  License Manager – Opens the License Manager tool.

§  Contact Business and Sales – Opens the Contact Skyline page on Skyline's website.

§  Technical Support – Opens the Skyline Technical Support page on Skyline's website.

§  License Agreement – Displays the TerraExplorer software license agreement on the main window.
