Creating a New Build Version
You can create a new build version with different project steps and different build parameters.
Note: If you want to create a completely new build version with a copy of the AT information from the current build, see "Creating a New Build with a Copy of the Current Aerotriangulation Results" in this chapter.
To create a new build version:
1. On the Home tab, in the Build Versions group, click the arrow next to New Version, and select New Build Version. The Build Parameters dialog is displayed.
2. Select the project steps and then enter the required parameters. See "Setting Build Steps, Parameters, and Outputs" in this chapter for information. The New build description dialog is displayed with a consecutive build number, e.g. "Build_2", "Build_3" etc.
3. Type a new build description, and click OK. PhotoMesh Build Manager then opens. Select the required fusers, and then click Build. See "Using Fusers" in the "Fusers" chapter for more information.
Creating a New Build Version with a Copy of the Current Aerotriangulation Results
When no AT parameters were changed from a previous build, you can create a new build version with different build parameters (e.g. reconstruction tile size) but with a copy of the AT information from the current build, thereby significantly accelerating the build process.
Note: If you want to create a completely new build version without copying the AT information from the current build, see "Creating a New Build Version" in this chapter.
To create a new build version with a copy of the AT:
1. On the Home tab, in the Build Versions group, click the arrow next to New Version, and select New Build Version – Copy AT. The Build Parameters dialog is displayed.
2. Select the Build Steps to perform. See "Setting Build Steps, Parameters, and Outputs" in this chapter for information. Select Complete Project to have PhotoMesh automatically determine what processing must be performed to build the outputs and complete the project, avoiding unnecessary rebuilding.
Note: This build version is using a copy of the AT from the current build, so no aerotriangulation parameters can be modified. This includes the Position & Accuracy and Coordinate System settings on the Build Settings page as well as all settings on the Aerotriangulation page (both selected from the left pane of the Build Parameters dialog).
3. Select the Collection Type and other parameters, and click Build. See "Setting Build Steps, Parameters, and Outputs" in this chapter for information.
Note: Some of the parameters will only apply if tiles need to be recreated.
Note: Output fields are not available when rebuilding error tiles.
The New build description dialog is displayed.
4. Type a new build description, and click OK. PhotoMesh Build Manager then opens. Select the required fusers, and then click Build. See "Using Fusers" in the "Fusers" chapter for more information.
