Skyline PhotoMesh Integrated into OneArc SceneCast™ to Enhance Simulation Workflows

Skyline Software’s PhotoMesh has been selected by BAE Systems OneArc™ as part of a global reseller agreement to be integrated into the SceneCast solution package. This collaboration enables an end-to-end workflow for rapidly capturing and processing real-world terrain for simulation training.

PhotoMesh plays a central role in the workflow by converting overlapping imagery from drones and other sensors into accurate, high-resolution 3D mesh models. These models are then processed within the SceneCast environment to create simulation-ready terrain that can be integrated into platforms such as VBS4® within hours. Using Mantle®, the terrain can also be exported to a range of industry-standard formats.

Adding Skyline PhotoMesh to SceneCast gives operators the capabilities they need to train as they fight, enabled by an end-to-end workflow ranging from drone surveying to realistic terrains ready to be used in simulation for mission rehearsal and training,” said Earl Laamanen, Senior Director of Geospatial Engineering at OneArc.

The integration of Skyline PhotoMesh into SceneCast provides a faster path to mission readiness for operators at the tactical edge. “We have a long history of supporting defense forces through the GEOINT community. Becoming part of the OneArc ecosystem marks our first steps into the simulation community, where we look forward to seeing the output of our products used for interactive training and mission rehearsal,” said Blair Jenkins, Director of Business Development & Growth at Skyline.

SceneCast, including Skyline PhotoMesh, will be showcased for the first time at ITEC 2026 in London, April 14–16. Visit OneArc at booth P30 for a demonstration and learn more about how SceneCast can support your mission needs.
